I went with the premise that I should just concentrate on the other blog, and did. And just dumped a lot of it. It turned out to be a year of mostly health posts, due to hyperthyroid, culminating in radition treatment in the spring. I had about 3 weeks in May that felt good, and then went hypothyroid. I just started synthetic thyroid and am beginning to feel almost normal. Ha!
Cassie made it 3 more days after the last post, and we decided to let her go.
Molly spent the last year having increasingly frequent seizures, but mostly was bouncing back. She was getting increasingly disoriented in May, walking into walls a lot, and basically had lost her Mollyness. She left us 10 days ago.
It is weird to have only 2 dogs, after years of 4, after years of 2. Funny what you adjust to!
Good to see you back! I didn’t know there was another blog, and wondered what had happened. Hope the health improvements keep heading in the right direction for you. I’m so sorry to hear about the loss of your dog.
